MSI's High-End MEG Z890 Unify-X Motherboard Leak

A detailed leak of specifications and a slightly blurry slide showcasing MSI's upcoming high-end MEG Z890 Unify-X motherboard has surfaced, thanks to @ChamberTech_ on Twitter. The motherboard is expected to attract users who want to maximize the performance of their new Ultra 200K series CPU, set to launch next month. It is rumored to support memory speeds of up to 10,000 MT/s and with only two DIMM slots, it may be capable of even higher speeds with the latest DDR5 CUDIMM's. The board boasts a 110 Ampere 20+1+1+1 VRM design on an eight-layer PCB and comes with an OC Tuning Controller, indicating a focus on overclocking.

The motherboard features two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for GPUs, likely operating in dual x8 mode when both slots are in use, along with a third PCIe 4.0 x16 slot in x4 mode and a single PCIe 4.0 x1 slot. Additionally, there are six M.2 slots, two PCIe 5.0 and four PCIe 4.0, as well as six SATA ports. Notably, the board offers a 5 Gbps Intel Killer Ethernet interface, Intel Killer WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 for network connectivity. It also includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a front USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20 Gbps) USB-C header with 60 W USB PD support, and 10 USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) ports, two of which are USB Type-C. The board is equipped with a Realtek ALC4080 audio codec and PS/2 ports for a keyboard and mouse. Additional features include buttons for BIOS flashing and resetting, a debug LED display, and an ATX 3.1 power connector for extra GPU power.
