NVIDIA GeForce 50-Series "Blackwell" SUPER GPUs Expected in 2026
NVIDIA is reportedly preparing to launch a mid-cycle refresh of its GeForce 50-series "Blackwell" graphics cards, introducing the SUPER brand extension. According to industry sources cited by BenchLife.info, the new lineup is anticipated to debut between late Q1 and early Q2 of 2026. Enthusiasts may get an early preview or official announcement during the 2026 International CES event.
New SUPER Models and Upgraded Memory
The upcoming GeForce 50-series SUPER lineup is expected to include at least three new models: the RTX 5070 SUPER, RTX 5070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 5080 SUPER. These cards are set to replace the existing RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5080, respectively. A significant highlight of this refresh is the substantial increase in memory capacity across all three SKUs.
The RTX 5070 SUPER is projected to feature 18 GB of memory, while both the RTX 5070 Ti SUPER and RTX 5080 SUPER are expected to come equipped with 24 GB of memory. This represents a 50% increase in memory size compared to the models they succeed. NVIDIA is achieving these higher capacities by utilizing advanced 24 Gbit GDDR7 memory chips, rather than by expanding memory bandwidth proportionally.
Industry Readiness and Launch Timeline
Despite the anticipated launch window, the report notes that NVIDIA’s add-in card (AIC) partners have not yet received official notifications regarding the new products, even as the industry approaches the fourth quarter of 2025. This suggests that while development is underway, the rollout process for the GeForce 50-series SUPER GPUs is still in its early stages.
As the graphics card market continues to evolve, NVIDIA’s focus on increasing memory capacity with the Blackwell SUPER series highlights the company’s commitment to meeting the growing demands of gamers and content creators. The use of next-generation GDDR7 memory is expected to deliver improved performance and efficiency, positioning the upcoming SUPER models as a significant upgrade within the GeForce 50-series lineup.
