WLMouse Ying Magnesium: A New Contender in Lightweight Wireless Gaming Mice

The gaming mouse landscape is rapidly evolving, with a surge of lightweight wireless models featuring advanced sensors and innovative materials. Chinese manufacturers are at the forefront of this trend, embracing forged carbon fiber and magnesium alloy constructions to deliver high-performance peripherals. The latest entry in this competitive market is the WLMouse Ying Magnesium, a gaming mouse that draws inspiration from the acclaimed Endgame Gear OP1 while introducing its own unique features.

Design and Build: Magnesium Alloy Construction

The WLMouse Ying Magnesium builds on the foundation set by the earlier Ying Carbon Fiber model, which debuted in 2025. However, the new series goes beyond simply updating the shell material. The magnesium alloy construction not only contributes to the mouse’s ultra-lightweight profile—coming in at just 47 grams (±2g)—but also offers enhanced durability and a premium feel. Users will have a choice of seven distinct colorways, including classic silver, white, and black, as well as more vibrant options like baby blue, bright red Nekko patterns, a white watercolor koi fish design, and a deep purple finish.

Performance and Features

Performance is a key focus for the WLMouse Ying Magnesium series. The mouse is equipped with the Nordic 52840 MCU and the PixArt PAW3950 sensor, ensuring precise tracking and responsiveness. With support for 8 kHz polling rates and wireless connectivity, the Ying Magnesium meets the demands of competitive gamers seeking minimal latency and maximum accuracy.

Switch options have also been expanded. While the Omron Optical switches from the previous carbon fiber model remain available, users can now opt for TTC Nihil Transparent Black Dot switches, which provide a slightly heavier and more tactile click experience. This customization allows gamers to tailor the mouse to their preferred play style.

Availability

WLMouse has yet to announce official pricing for the Ying Magnesium series. Full details, including pricing and availability, are expected to be revealed at the product’s official launch on March 10, 2026.
